I realize this is does not fit into the "cross country model" but hey! CCF is going international!
We recently traveled to Australia and spent time in Sydney and Cairns. In Sydney, we explored the city, the architecture, and the beaches. In Cairns, we snorkeled along the Great Barrier Reef. We also went a fabulous steakhouse to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday, and on Easter morning, we went out for brunch at Wharf ONE Cafe.
The cafe is located along a stretch of boardwalk near the Shangri-La The Marina Hotel where we were staying and right next to the marina. The venue is an open-air cafe with breathtaking views of the water and reef. Their website says it well:
"Join us and be mesmerised by the stunning inlet views as boats pass you by, and enjoy our fresh interesting menu that is filled with local produce. We look forward to seeing you soon for breakfast, morning or afternoon tea, lunch, and even after work drinks & tapas…or just a great coffee!"
The menu was interesting! We had breakfast sandwiches, French toast, and a fruit bowl featuring local produce. The coffee was fabulous and so were the smoothies!
