This was a special stop! My daughter Piper spent a month in Hawaii near the famed North Shore in Oahu a few summers back. She fell in love with the people, the vibe and the bowls!
This local favorite -- Hale'iwa Bowls -- offers the popular acai bowls as well as coconut-based bowls, which is what we had. Insanely fresh and refreshing!
In terms of java, we ordered a cold brew with almond milk. It did not disappoint! It was a hot day, and we were taking a walk through the old town of Hale'iwa to catch the #422 bus to hit the beach. Later that day, we found ourselves running a mile to catch a return bus back to our hotel, so I was happy to be properly caffeinated!
