I recently found myself in Baltimore chaperoning a school trip with 30 high school students. Today's high school student knows her coffee! And our 3 Bean Coffee stop was fantastic! With high-end kiosks to order your own coffee, the ordering process went smoothly. Matchas, macchiatos and chai lattes were flowing! I had my normal large hot coffee with just cream, and it was perfect: super hot, full of flavor but not too strong. 

Having lived in Baltimore in the late 90s when I was in my early 20s, I spent a lot of time with my husband in coffee shops. He and I had just one "kid" - our bulldog Peaches - and lots of time on our hands to explore Baltimore! 3 Bean would have been our kind of place ... super cool and eclectic decor, easy to walk to (right in the Inner Harbor on the edge of Federal Hill) and plenty of chairs and couches to just sit and relax.
